In 2005, STOREP inaugurated a series of “European Summer Schools” with the main aims:
- to provide advanced training for European postgraduate students in the history of political economy and, more generally, to broaden the horizons of young economists on the relevance of the history of economic thought for a better comprehension and further advances of contemporary economics;
- to allow postgraduate students to meet fellows and scholars from European universities and countries with the same research interests.
Four Summer Schools were thus held at Bressanone:
