Over the last few days, the exceptionally high temperatures affecting Naples have caused serious disruptions to the city’s electrical network, resulting in significant technical failures at several university facilities. Unfortunately, some of these problems have directly affected the buildings originally planned to host parts of our conference.
As a consequence, and due to circumstances entirely beyond our control, all conference activities will now take place at Palazzo Pecoraro Albani, Via Porta di Massa 32, Napoli.
In addition, because of these unforeseen difficulties, further adjustments to the conference program have been necessary. We kindly ask all participants to review the latest version of the program carefully before arriving and to check it regularly throughout the conference.
The University and the conference organizers are working intensively to ensure that all lecture rooms are fully operational and that presentation equipment, internet connections, and other technical facilities function properly. However, given the exceptional circumstances, we apologize in advance for any technical inconvenience or delay that may occur during the conference.
Please be assured that we will do everything possible to address any issues promptly and to minimize disruption to our activities. We are extremely grateful for your understanding, flexibility, and cooperation.
While these last-minute changes have undoubtedly created challenges, we remain convinced that the conference will offer a rich and rewarding scientific experience. The program is exceptionally strong, and we are confident that the conversations, debates, and opportunities to meet colleagues from across the international history of economic thought community will make this gathering particularly worthwhile.
Thank you for your patience and support. We look forward to welcoming you tomorrow and to sharing with you what we are sure will be a memorable STOREP Conference.
