“ESHET-STOREP Joint Session”: Economic policies, inequalities, social improvement: a historical perspective

ESHET-STOREP Joint Session
Economic policies, inequalities, social improvement: a historical perspective

The 2024 STOREP conference in Milan intends to explore the issue of inequalities in today’s economies, its various dimensions, and why inequalities are de facto accepted as an almost ineliminable feature of capitalist societies.
ESHET members are called upon to contribute to the organization of a joint session with STOREP to discuss specific historical perspectives on the issue of inequalities, but also (enlarging the perspective, in line with the main topic of the Annual ESHET meeting), the contribution that economics and policymaking can offer to social improvement.
We invite interested scholars to submit an abstract (400 words max., keywords) by March 31, 2024, to valentina.erasmo@unito.it.
