STOREP Grants 2026: Empowering Innovative Economic Research
The Italian Association for the History of Political Economy (STOREP) announces the STOREP Grants 2026, to support new groundbreaking economic research!
We invite STOREP members to submit small-scale projects that explore one or more of the following themes:
History of Political Economy & Economic Thought – Unravel the evolution of economic ideas and their impact on the present.
Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Approaches – Bring different perspectives by blending insights from other disciplines.
Heterodox Economic Theories – Challenge conventional wisdom and introduce innovative economic perspectives.
A dedicated selection committee will evaluate each proposal based on academic quality and significance. Up to two outstanding projects will be awarded a grant of up to €2,000 each. If no submissions meet the required standard, funds will be carried forward to the following year.

What Grant Recipients Commit To
Present research findings at the 2027 STOREP Conference.
Submit work for publication in the STOREPapers Series.
Eligibility & Funding Disbursement
- Open to STOREP members only (Executive Committee members are ineligible).
- Applications can be submitted individually or in teams of two STOREP members.
- Funding is released in two stages:
- 50% upon proposal acceptance
- 50% upon submission of the final paper for presentation at the 2027 STOREP Conference.

Expected Results (250 words)
Five Keywords & JEL Codes
Affiliation, & Short Biographical Notes (max 200 words)
Two Relevant Publications related to the topic
Names of Additional Researchers, if applicable
