    The time has come for a new beginning. STOREP reaches 18 and comes of age (according to the Italian law) this year. The Association is now an international entity (as illustrated by the ever-increasing number of non-Italian members) widely recognized as a lively, authoritative, and influential forum, with a community of more than 200 scholars working in the history of economic thought and the history of economics, or in the heterodox tradition.     Elections of STOREP officers (President, Secretary, Members of the Executive Committee, Auditors, and, in a separate ballot, Young Scholars Representative) for the next triennium will be held in March, 2021. Only current members (that is, scholars who have become member in 2021 or renewed their membership for the current year) shall be entitled to vote.     STOREP is pleased to announce the launch of a research grant of 3,000€ for 2021. Following a now well-established tradition, STOREP members are invited to submit innovative small-scale research projects that fall into one or more of the following three categories: research projects in the history of political economy, the history of economic thought, and the history of economics; research projects exploring economic issues on an inter/transdisciplinary basis; research projects explicitly promoting heterodox approaches to economic theory. Proposals are scrutinized on their quality and relevance by a selection committee composed of three members nominated by the Executive Committee, avoiding any conflict of interest.     The two Young Scholars STOREP 2020 Awards (1000€ each) are conferred to the authors (young scholars under 40 years of age) of the best articles presented at the Annual Conference. The articles can focus on any topic of relevance to the history of political economy or to the main theme of the Conference, but they can also discuss any issue in contemporary economic analysis and policy whose conclusions are spelled out in contrast or continuity with past theoretical standpoints.
