(deadline: June 15)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-7375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.storep.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GRANT2024-1024x394.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"254\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.storep.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GRANT2024-1024x394.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.storep.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GRANT2024-300x116.png 300w, https:\/\/www.storep.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GRANT2024-768x296.png 768w, https:\/\/www.storep.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GRANT2024-1536x592.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.storep.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GRANT2024-700x270.png 700w, https:\/\/www.storep.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GRANT2024-332x128.png 332w, https:\/\/www.storep.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GRANT2024.png 2046w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/>We are pleased to announce the launch of the new round of STOREPGrants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">STOREP members are invited to submit innovative small-scale research projects that fall into one or more of the following three categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">research projects in the history of political economy, the history of economic thought, and the history of economics;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">research projects exploring economic issues on an inter\/transdisciplinary basis;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">research projects explicitly promoting heterodox approaches to economic theory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposals are scrutinized on their\u00a0<strong>quality and relevance<\/strong>\u00a0by a selection committee composed of three members nominated by the Executive Committee, avoiding any conflict of interest.\u00a0<strong>The selection committee may award up to a maximum of two research projects for a total amount of 2000 euros for each project<\/strong>\u00a0if the selection committee considers none of the proposals worthy of funding, the\u00a0grant\u00a0budget is retained for the following year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>deadline<\/strong> for submitting proposals is <strong>June\u00a015, 2024<\/strong>. The winner will be officially announced during the forthcoming General Assembly, to be held during the 21st Annual Conference in Milan, 27-29 June 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Award recipients must commit themselves to <strong>publicly illustrate<\/strong> the results of their research by presenting a full paper at the <strong>2025\u00a0<\/strong>STOREP\u00a0Conference or in the one after that and to submit it for publication in the STOREPapers Series.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Only\u00a0STOREP\u00a0members<\/strong> can apply for the\u00a0grants; members of the Executive Committee cannot submit proposals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only an individual\u00a0STOREP\u00a0member or teams of two\u00a0STOREP\u00a0members are entitled to apply.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winners receive 50% of the funding when the proposal is accepted and 50% after submitting their paper for presentation at the\u00a0STOREP\u00a0Annual Conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">STOREP\u00a0members who wish to participate must send to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:segretario@storep.org\">segretario@storep.org<\/a> a <strong>research proposal<\/strong> (Microsoft Word) that includes the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">title;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">problem statement and objectives (500 words), sources and secondary literature (500 words), expected results (250 words);<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">five keywords;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">JEL codes;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Affiliation and short biographical notes (max. 200 words):<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">two relevant publications broadly related to the proposed subject;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">other researchers eventually involved\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce the launch of the new round of STOREPGrants.
