HOW TO GET TO TURIN
BY PLANE
Torino’s international airport “Sandro Pertini” (www.aeroportoditorino.it/en) is located in Caselle Torinese, 16 km away from Torino city centre.
Bus. It is probably the best way to get to downtown from the airport. Public transport company SADEM buses run every 15 minutes and stop in front of the main train stations (Porta Nuova and Porta Susa). A single ticket costs € 6.50 (€ 7,50 if bought on board) and the journey takes about 50 minutes. For further information and timetables see the SADEM website.
Taxi. The taxi fare is about 30 euros and the journey takes about 30 minutes (contact Pronto Taxi at +39 011 5737, or Radio Taxi at +39 011 5730 – 011 3399). See also the airport’s website.
Direct buses (18 hours /day, 10 couples of runs) connect Malpensa Airport (Milan; 140 km from Torino) to Torino city centre. Travel time is about 2 hours and a single ticket costs 22 euros. You have to book in advance. See the SADEM website for more information, timetables and bookings.
BY TRAIN
Turin is one of the most important national and international railway junctions. Turin’s main railway stations are:
