History of Economics Society Distinguished Fellow: Maria Cristina Marcuzzo

We are happy to share with the Association’s members the news that the 2021 History of Economics Society Distinguished fellow is former STOREP President Maria Cristina Marcuzzo.

The distinguished fellow award recognizes a member who has contributed to a lifetime of study. The motivation reads: “Dr. Marcuzzo is a full professor of Political Economy at the University of Rome, La Sapienza and a Fellow of the Italian Academy of Lincei. She has worked on many diverse topics in the history of economic thought, including classical monetary theory, the Cambridge School of Economics, Keynesian economics. She has published more than 100 journal articles and books and has authored or edited another 20 volumes of work. She has served on many, many HES committees over the years. Countless young scholars have benefitted from her sound advice, warmth, and encouragement”.
