Ernest Lluch Prize 2019 to STOREP Honorary member Cosimo Perrotta

The Spanish Association of Economic History (AEHE) has awarded STOREP Honorary member Cosimo Perrotta the Ernest Lluch Prize 2019 for his book titled Unproductive Labour in Political Economy.

According to the Jury, “in this book Professor Perrotta shows great rigor in the use of a wide array of primary sources and analyses numerous economists under a new perspective. In short, the book culminates a fruitful line of research to which Professor Perrotta has devoted many years of study and whose results have been discussed in different international forums.”

The awards ceremony will be held on September 5^th, 2019 within the VII Meeting of the AEHE in the city of Avila.

La AEHE otorga el Premio Ernest Lluch 2019 a la mejor contribución a la Historia del Pensamiento Económico a Cosimo Perrotta por su libro Unproductive Labour in Political Economy.
El Jurado, compuesto por los autores premiados en las tres convocatorias previas, ha valorado que “el profesor Perrotta muestra un gran rigor en el uso de las fuentes primarias y analiza numerosos economistas bajo una nueva perspectiva. En definitiva, el libro culmina una fructuosa línea de investigación a la que el profesor Perrotta ha dedicado muchos años de estudio y cuyos resultados han sido debatidos en diferentes foros internacionales.”
